Say what you want done. It does the work from your own computer.

SalesPipe is a desktop app that finds the people you want to reach, researches them, writes to them from your own mailbox and WhatsApp, answers replies and asks you before anything risky. It runs in your menu bar; your data stays on your computer.

$19 a month for one computer, plus the AI model keys you bring.

macOS today; Windows and Ubuntu planned. One owner, one computer.

The owner writes "Find 20 plumbers in Leeds and write to them this week" in WhatsApp. SalesPipe replies with a plan and asks to start. After "yes", the app's Home card counts found, judged, sent, answered and waiting leads; an approval card shows the first draft message, the owner approves it, and the menu bar count drops from two to one.

How does it work?

Three steps. You describe the goal in a sentence; the app composes a plan and shows it to you; you approve the first message of each kind and it carries on at a careful pace, reporting back in your chat.

  1. Step 1: Say what you want done

One sentence in the app or in your own WhatsApp. SalesPipe reads your product page once, asks what it must, and shows a plan card: who, where, which channels, how many a day.

  2. Step 2: Approve the first one

It finds people, researches each, judges fit and writes in your tone. The first message of each kind waits as a card. Approve, change or skip; after that, the rest of that kind go on their own within the limits.

  3. Step 3: Let it run from the menu bar

It sends at a person's pace in their daytime, answers common replies, hands real conversations to you, pauses when offline and tells you when something needs attention. A daily digest says what happened.

Who is it for?

All use cases

People who are their own sales team: local service businesses, freelancers, app founders and small brands whose customers answer on WhatsApp, email and Facebook rather than LinkedIn.

How does it compare with AI sales tools?

Hosted AI sales reps start between $149 and about $3,750 a month and run in the vendor's cloud with the vendor's data. SalesPipe runs on your computer, uses your own accounts and is priced for one person.

The awkward questions

Full FAQ

Is my data safe?

Your leads, messages and settings live in a database on your own computer, in a folder the app owns. Nothing is uploaded to SalesPipe servers because there are none. The only data that leaves your machine is what you choose to send to people and what the AI model you connect needs to write and judge.

Does SalesPipe send messages without asking?

Not until you tell it to. The default is “first of each kind, then go”: you see the first message of a new kind as an approval card, and after your OK the rest of that kind go on their own within the daily limits. You can switch to “ask every time” or “just go” per program. Payments, deletions and anything about money always ask.

What does it cost to run?

Two things: the app licence and the AI model you connect. See the pricing page for the current price. For the model, you bring your own key; a free OpenRouter route is preselected at setup and paid routes cost cents per day at the volumes the app sends. Lead-finding APIs are optional and metered too; the app shows each one's allowance and spend on its Connections page.

Can WhatsApp ban my number?

It can if a number sends like a bot, so the app sends like a careful person. A number starts at 3 to 5 messages a day, then 6 to 10 after 7 days of sending, then 10 to 18 after 14 days of sending, a different count each day. All campaigns share one number's day: never more than 18, with 2 rest days and 2 light days each week, at least 5 minutes apart, only in the recipient's daytime. It stops for the day on a limit warning and for days if WhatsApp restricts the number, then climbs again from the start; it rests when fewer than 12% of people answer or 120 people in a month have not. Use a second SIM for prospects; these figures are the lowest from operator reports, not WhatsApp's published numbers.

Built by Asad Mahmood for his own businesses first

SalesPipe started as the tool Asad Mahmood needed to find customers for Gaugely, Inbill and KidSpin from Lahore, Pakistan, without a sales team. Every feature here has run for those businesses before it was written up on this page. There are no customer testimonials yet, so none are shown.
